wHO ARE WE?
Hello there!
We are Chloe & Emma, two 30-somethings originally from the West Midlands, UK, now travelling the world.
Like many others, Covid hit us hard and during the pandemic we made the decision that we would travel as soon as we were able to.
Our first step was saving up. We didn’t have any nest eggs and our bank balance basically started from zero.
We both had good jobs and saved every penny possible over an 18 month period, sold all of our possessions and now everything we own is in our backpacks!
We started this blog to share our tips and experiences of travelling on a budget. The ups and downs, dos and don’ts and the good, the bad & the ugly of travelling life.
You won’t find floaty dresses or Insta-worthy selfies on here. Instead, we can be found getting lost on a scooter somewhere in the countryside or snorkelling off the shore for hours on end!
Most importantly, we hope to inspire you to find the wonder in your wanders.
